Clubs

Beginning in May, students meet one day every other week to tear down last year's garden and prep and plant this year's. Students maintain it throughout the spring and early summer and meet again in the fall to have a harvest party. Students and advisors cook the potatoes, make fresh salsa, salads, and strawberry lemonade to celebrate all of their hard work!

Eagles United Choir is for 4th and 5th grade students only. Practices will be on Tuesday & Thursday after school until 3:30 pm starting January 16, 2025. Choir sign-up forms have been sent home in the January school newsletter.

The Performing Arts Club at Horizons is the place to be for your students to participate in Choir and the Winter & Spring Musicals!

The Choir performs in the school Veterans Day program in November, and the regional Zone Concert at Timberline High School in March.

The Winter Musical is performed for the school in December. There is a presentation for the school during the day and one for families that evening.

The Spring Musical is performed for the school in June, both here at Horizons and the Woodland Retirement Community.

The Horizons running club is offered in the fall and spring for 6 weeks each! Students are taught how to stretch and cool down and slowly work their way up to being able to run a 5K.
